Protocols and Ports

In certain situations, it may be necessary to allow these ports in your firewall. We recommend utilizing the subnet ranges, as there may be more than one server on one Geo Node that can serve the same function. The following are Subnet Ranges and IP addresses that are in use by our systems:

IP Locations
70.42.44.0/24Secaucus
75.98.50.0/24Dallas
216.24.144.0/24Las Vegas
199.21.246.224/27Minneapolis
207.254.80.0/22Overlay
207.254.80.0/24Atlanta
207.254.81.0/24Secaucus
207.254.82.0/24Dallas
207.254.83.0/24Las Vegas
18.209.52.107/32Fax ATA
54.219.249.208/32Fax ATA

The following protocols and ports are used by our systems:

ProtocolPort/sUse
TCP80, 443Web UI's and provisioning servers
TCP80, 442, 443Instant Fax server
UDP5060SIP signaling
TCP7000, 7001Fax ATA
TCP8001Web Sockets
TCP8000Text-to-Speech
UDP8889Web Meetings and Video Conferences
UDP17000–35999RTP

The following ports are used by the UC Client:

• TCP - 443, 9002 (Encrypted Web Socket Traffic)

•UDP - 443, 30000-40000 (Audio communications over DTLS, which is TLS for UDP)

The UC Client uses encrypted WebSocket connections on ports 443 TCP/UDP and 9002 TCP. Additionally, audio communications are achieved via DTLS (TLS for UDP) on ports 30000 - 40000 UDP.
